Boca Chica Beach and Highway 4 closures are now ordered by the City of Starbase under Texas Space Commission authority. As posted September 26: a closure is scheduled for Monday, Sept 28, 4am–10am, with backup windows Sept 29 and 30. Always check the current notice at starbase.texas.gov/beach-road-access.
Starship's Flight 14 is targeted for Monday, September 28, with the launch window opening 7:15am, pending regulatory approval. Delays and scrubs are common. That same Monday is one of the last two early voting days on the island: watch the launch in the morning, then vote by 7pm at 4501 Padre Blvd, and expect the island to be busy.
